Manic Monday--SUPER-MOON!! or, Hobo Cures Global Warming!!

So, last night was one of them there "Super-Moon" thingies.

So this is as good a time as any to note that the Moon coming closer to the Earth is a very, very, very bad thing:

Because the "Super-Moon" is really just the precursor of...THE END OF THE WORLD!!

Uh-oh.

It gets worse:

Well, things are tough all over, and everyone is trying to migrate somewhere cooler (even though such a place doesn't exist), as we come upon the hero of our tale, a nameless hobo.

No, he's not Namor. At least, I don't think so...

An innocent looking shack...?

And the news report tells us, the Earth has gone to heck in a handbasket...

Well, that's it--game over, man!! GAME OVER!!!

Or is it...?

Wait just one minute...

So, to set off  "the nation's entire stockpile of atomic bombs," you don't need presidential authorization. You don't need some passcode. You don't need some key (or keys). You just have to pound a Daffy Duck "never hit this" red button. There's not even a cover over it! Hell, the building itself isn't even locked!!

Fortunately, there's no luck like hobo luck. Because while not-Namor has no clue what he's done...

Geez, what a lucky thing!!

But nobody knows that our hobo saved the Earth from Super-Moon and climate change and hell, let's just give him nuclear war, too. So...

Just have the Human Torch throw you into the ocean, hobo...
